3D printer fodder

Develop home recycling machine that breaks things down for use in a 3D printer.

You put your paper products in one part, plastics in another, food stuff in another, glass in another. The machine would break things down to a point where they could be used in an attached 3D printer to make other items you could use or sell.

Food waste could be processed into liquid fertilizer sludge that could be used to grow food.

This could be a boon to m preppers that want to go off the grid but have all the comforts of modern technology.

Gene-editing tattoos on skin

Develop a gene editing pad that could be laid on the skin. It would then edit the genes of the skin in a pattern of the person's choice, either a picture or letters. It would work by turning on and off the melanin levels in each "pixel" of skin so that the tattoo/picture would appear.

Probably not the right terminology or use of the technology at this point but it might be a neat use of it in the future!

Dog bark tracker

Use an inexpensive phone or small computer board like the Raspberry Pi to build a dog bark tracker.

That way you can keep track of all the annoying barking happening in the neighborhood and share it on a homeowners association website or with neighbors to show the impact of their dog on you and your family as well as on the neighborhood.

Suvival stick made of PVC pipe

You could make a walking stick out of PVC pipe with a rubber foot, wrap it with paracord so you have rope with you wherever you go, then fill the stick with survival stuff like first aid, band-aids, duct tape folded up, moleskin for blisters, snacks like Slim Jims, a couple of single-serve gatorade mix packs, maybe a survival straw for filtering water, a glow stick or small flashlight, and that sort of thing.

You could even do this with a short wide piece of PVC pipe for the trunk of your car or your toolbox. It would take up very little space and keep everything in one place. Convenient!

Flashcard prayer list

Use flashcards for your prayer "list". That way you can rotate through them easily, pray for a few at a time, and maybe even keep notes a little easier.

If you could put prayer requests in a text file you could use flashcard app to go through them over and over. And show how much you prayed for someone or something.

Could help with your relationship with God!

Wind-powered recharger for cars

Could a torpedo-shaped wind powered recharger be made for electric cars?

Then it could be mounted on the roof or bumper to help recharge battery.

If you could make it small you could mount an array of them on the front bumper. Or under the car.

What3words for deliveries

Idea for robot deliveries

Use the what3words system to specify delivery areas at homes and businesses.

That way you can actually program the machines to go specifically to where to drop things rather than just a home address and then it has to figure out where the porches and all of that stuff.
