Monopod robot #idea

Put a wheel with the motor on it on a box that's on wheels and that wheel with the motor on it can go around the body of the box and then be pressed down onto the surface beneath the box and spun either forward or backwards to push the box in a certain direction.

This would be like a monopod microscopic creatures in our lakes and water and that sort of thing that push themselves along and do that in order to get to different places. You could put sensors on the box so that it knows if it's running into a wall or getting close to a wall or if it's open on all sides of it. Being a box you have plenty of room for all the wires and everything like that so it would be a different approach to moving around. And you can make it more something like a R2-D2 like thing but it would be square and that easy to pop open and add things to inside.

You could even make it like panels on each side so that you could pop a panel open and do things and then now swap it out.

Kind of like R2-D2 and he would do a pop of his 1 foot out there and pull himself long. But the sensors could progress from sonic distance sensors to light and dark sensors and even to cameras eventually. The cameras could be such that the you can take a picture and have the programming look at the picturing okay where about this far away we need to go this much and then start measuring that distance from the X or the target or whatever it's looking to bump against or be up close to as it goes along.

Kitty litter bot

Kitty litter box with a screen. The kitty litter goes on top of the screen. Once a day the screen lifts up and tilts to gather the poop to one corner. Then that corner lifts up and dumps the poop into a cup on the side of the box. The cup could have a liquid that dissolves the poop so it can be poured into the toilet or down the drain.

Frisbee drone

Make a frisbee that always flies back to where it was thrown from.

Bonus if it is powered by the wind it is flying through!
